​Lieutenant Albert “Al” LeMay was a husband, father, grandfather and decorated 25 year veteran officer of the fire service. Serving his career with the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department.

A firm believer in the mantra that he and his crew were the most important tools on the truck, because a good firefighter was the most important tool to be on scene in order to realize a successful outcome.

 

This charity was started by his family to honor his legacy of helping his community as a public service provider, training his personnel, ensuring his teams’ preparedness and being dedicated to the job, by building a crew of like minded individuals, cultivating a work family, and establishing your fire house as a home that is capable of handling what any emergency may have in store.
